Marisa is a graduate of the University of Trinidad and Tobago where she attained a Magna cum laude Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She is an effective educator who nurtures, mentors and motivates our nation's children. Prior to joining the field of education, Marisa held the position of an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) professional in the general construction and energy industry. Lifelong learning is a trait she values and is passionate about, as it is focused on personal development. Marisa has been actively involved in community projects over the years and her commitment to this foundation comes from a strong belief in giving back to the community where she can empower people to take a proactive approach to improve their lives.
Her philosophy is "Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
